Bachmann: The view from the plantation

THANKS TO a reader who sent along another candidate for Bartlett's Qu0tations that he labeled: "Finally Republicans unveil their jobs program." Here it is, direct from Michele Bachmann:
"Literally, if we took away the minimum wage - if conceivably it was gone - we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level."
(Sorry, that idea has already been tried, Michele. They were called plantations.)

At least the plantations provided room & board.

I'm considering posting as bachmannfan84 from here on out as I would love to see her run for Prez as she runs from her past. That would be quite the tail chase.

Get the feeling that Vanderbilt, Stanford, Huntington, and Gould have been reincarnated? A common right wing economic message today is that prosperity for the wealthy requires a large and subservient poverty class. Bachmann merely reads the script prepared by others.

I will change my voter registration this year so I can vote for the looniest of the GOP.
