A report by the Associated Press quoted you as opposing the proposed 5 pct.pay cut for lawmakers because you believe they "earn" their pay. Does this mean that you don't believe that everyone who has been forced to accept pay cuts - some much greater than 5 pct. - during these hard times don't "earn" their pay?

Abe, it's important to properly decode Batchelder's statement. He's pointing his GOP finger of reprimand at folks like you and me who depend on unearned senior welfare (aka Social Security and Medicare) to survive.
According to the GOP, you guys and gals on Social Security and Medicare are greedy welfare queens.
