OUR NEW huff-and-puff governor, John Kasich, again finds himself in deep
do do for his reckless abuse of the English language. A YouTube video has caught him in a Jan. 21 speech to state workers from the Environmental Protection Agency in which he referred to a police officer as an "idiot". Not once, but three times! According to Kasich, the officer ticketed him for passing an emergency vehicle."He's an idiot," Kasich told his audience of the traffic stop that occurred more than three years ago. "We just can't act that way and what people resent are people who are in government who don't treat the client with respect." Client? Huh?
Kasich was still a Lehman Brothers employe at the time of his arrest and doubtless was in his bullish Wall Street mode.
Kasich spokesman Rob Nichols said the governor would apologize for his unfortunate choice of words. It appears that Nichols is going to be kept quite busy sweeping up after a governor who has earned a reputation for shouting fire even when the theater is empty.

Each time our new governor opens his mouth, what comes out seems more and more "Bush-like".
Kasich reminds me more of Rumsfeld.
Anon, Menken - I don't live in Ohio, but I do question why you would compliment this guy by calling him "Bush-like" and Rumsfeld-esque. Those two were bad; this guy doesn't even qualify for a rating. ....Just sayin'
This is prototypical behavior by His Highness, whose high-handed disdain for those of lesser rank is part of his eccentric behavioral pattern. His condescending attitude defines his imperious air that no other mortal is sufficiently qualified, either intellectually or practically, to question his judgment or actions. It won't be too long before some who voted for him begin to regret their decision.
I"m already hearing that from Kasich voters. As a former Capitol Hill reporter, have you ever seen a shakedown cruise requiring so many shakes?
Just so you know, there's a $50 fine here for using the phrase "just sayin".
Another trivial, made up controversy against our fine governor. Kasich has only been in office a month and I have already lost count of all the ridiculous criticisms he has faced.
Come on liberals.....where is the substance?????
Foxy, counting isn't that hard. You begin with "one," followed by "two", followed by "three" etc. Hope this helps.
Foxy has a substance abuse problem. Facts make him nauseous and light-headed.
Fauxnewsfan,
I see you've crawled out from under your rock. I'm still waiting for your response from a previous post. You appeared to continue to have trouble with numbers. Must be the cognitive dissonance.
As for Kasich, his history is well known. As he races Ohio to 3rd world status, will you continue to defend him? Of course you will, until told not to.
