Karl, care to join me in a brief review of what your "small r" presidents have done? Pay attention:
Ronald Reagan: Seen dozing during a meeting with Pope John Paul II in Rome. Reagan's assistant, Jim Kuhn, explained. sort of: "For some reason, the pope's voice has a hypnotic effect on the president."George H.W. Bush: Threw up on the Japanese prime minister in 1992.
George W. Bush: Approached German Chancellor Angela Merkel from behind at an official meeting in 2008 and clawed both of her shoulders as she responded with pained surprise. Ha! Ha! (At least he didn't towel-snap her.)
(Just for the hell of it, Karl, you might try "getting it right" yourself in your Sunday sermons. The "r's" in your name just got smaller. )

If John Paul II could work a real miracle, keeping Reagan awake would be it. RR slept through the last his last six years in the White House. Even the pope can forgive him for lack of attention during a Vatican outing - its boring. Having attended a papal audience, I speak from experience.
Don't forget GW Bush kissing and holding hands with Saudi King Abdullah. Aside from the frat boy move on Merkel, hard to top that!
And speaking of outrageous criticism of Obama's "bow," see the Moonie Times (aka Washington Times) blatantly racist editorial on Obama:
Pruden: Obama lacks "blood impulse" for what America "is about" due to "Kenyan father," "mother attracted to men of the Third World"

You must remember that the Times is owned by Sun Myung Moon, extreme right-wing head of the Unification church, who once spent 13 months in prison for tax evasion and has referred to homosexuals as "dung-eating dogs." He also refers to Obama as a draft dodger, although there is nothing in Moon's bio to suggest that he ever served a day in the U.S.Military. The reporters who continue to work for his paper must be desperate.
