Sen. Mitch McConnell,who is still trying to add some meaning to his life, says he will devote much of his energy to fighting the environmentalists' "war on coal". Desperate politicians will grope for anything to upgrade their empty legacy for the historians. But if you are following Mitch these days, such truculence at home and Iran will only add more toxic pollution to the air we breathe.
